DEKITA!!!

Waha! Erm, where are my manners. Hi I’m nekosasu, call me neko ok? So… First things first…
Welcome to my new blog!
Well, in the past I never considered starting my own blog because I found it to be very boring and pointless. I usually kept exchanging the few praises/rants about different anime and random topics with my IRC buddies only. But you know, online chatting is a bit inconsistent to me, and most of the time I can only reach the few people who are awake and/or interested, so I can’t get everyone’s opinion on those matters. So to get my message across to everyone, I had to create a blog.
Initially, I wasn’t motivated at all though. Blogging requires some time and a certain amount of endeavor, and to a huge procrastinator like me, it was a sheer impossible task. So I kept lurking and ranting in IRC. Some day in december I was sorting out my downloaded anime during some of my many procrastinating sessions, and I had to google around to find fansub comparisons and/or synopses. I found myself reading different blogs, got interested in the different comments - I really wanted to reply to each of them but never actually posted them, because once I start writing, I cannot stop. I love to talk. Lots. My long comments/posts are one of my traits - or vices; I think many people go tl;dr (too long; didn’t read) when they face yet another of neko’s essay-like posts. Yet, I only behave like this on the internets; I actually am a very silent (and boring) person IRL and keep it as clear and brief as possible.
Anyway, since I didn’t want to spam someone’s comment box, I thought, “why don’t I just start my own blog, and link back to the other blogs for them to read my comment?”. Since I just started watching anime as well, it would also be a great source of motivation to watch more anime.
So I created a blogger account (View my old blog) which I wasn’t very happy with though. After one week I already had been thinking of settling down at AnimeBlogger; I remembered that many blogs looked quite professional and I wanted to have a blog like that as well. Applied to maestro, and got my account set up 3 days ago. And all this time I spent day and night modding the theme, applying plugins, messing with php, making banners, etc. This is the outcome, and I hope you like it ^^
In comparison to other blogs, this one has still a long way to go. I probably will not be able to keep a steady post rate since many things need fixing yet, online as IRL. But I hope that in the future I can count on you to stay tuned and to react to my random blurbs and thoughts right out of neko’s thinkbox.
And one final thing, I write way too much. I bet you noticed that already. I hope you won’t go tl;dr but read every word diligently. Yoroshiku ne~
Uguu~ I forgot watching Getsumen to Heiki Mina today, too busy with blog… Tomorrow, definitely!

heyy~! welcome to ab.net! =D your blog seems really pro haha, like you’ve been doing this forever >_> *suspicious look*
anyway, looks great! don’t worry about talking too much xP that may just be the point heh~
good luck and have fun blogging!
Yes, welcome. Best of luck staying motivated with your new blog, and I’m looking forward to some future posts :) I’m glad you join us in IRC as well, because the more the merrier!
If you’re worried about walls of text, you can always plug some relevant(or random) pictures to rest the eyes. Personally, I don’t see a problem with a lot of text since it looks sophisticated, lol.
Glad to see another new AB member. I tend to enjoy random blurbs and thoughts as the lead to things I did even think to consider. So I’m looking forward to reading them. Have fun.
hey there, welcome to the anime blogging community! hope u have fn and good luck with your blog ;)
Welcome over to the ab.net community and do enjoy yourself here. Take your time to orientate yourself and write. If anything, just write whenever you feel like it and let’s hope that you will be active fora while k.
cheers and have fun ^+^
Anime Buroggaa e youkoso.
Uh, I’m pretty sure you had a look at the rules. So, I’m not going to bother telling you about them. Other than that, try to have fun and do what you do with love because that’s how you impress viewers.
Welcome to Animeblogger, Neko! I went and looked at your profile page and am still deflating my eyes back to their original size after I looked at the number of languages you know, but I guess it’s unavoidible when you live in the EU.
I look forward to reading your blogs. The best advice I can give you as a blog reader is this: Blog consistently or on a normal schedule, and you will most likely get more hits and feedback.
Good luck!! :3
FINALLY I can access the darn dreamhost pages. Congrats on setting up your blog o/
