Neko just died (read: finished a series)

nekosasu | April 10, 2007 | 5:47 am

Raw Feelings ahead, no pics cuz no time argh warning unstable neko

Well yeah it’s 6:10 AM I just went a marathon watching through the last twenty episodes of Gundam SEED……….. And I swear, I’m messed up. Exaggeratingly excited and angry and sad at the same time. Holy Cow. THERE’S NO WAY! I can’t believe it!! OMG I don’t know I don’t know this is killing meeeeeeee omg I wasn’t ready for that now I can’t concentrate on anything for the next few days, ARGH I really can’t convey my feelings in a proper sentence, sorry about that

During the last episodes I jumped up my chair and randomly punched around me, everytime they shot their beams I was like “I CAME zomgs@1!1@” and… Boy. A tear leaked out when that goddamn Le Klueze shot at the…. And it looked like Kira saved her but… NO omg and the rest of the story, yes it’s one big mess but WHAT A MESS

BREATHE IN BREATHE OUT. Wow, my eyes are wide open. I should calm down a bit but yeah usually when I finish a series I just review in my head what I just saw but this time I can’t, it somewhat struck me right inside, well probably because I just watched 20 eps in a row which made me highly vulnerable, or because I have no real reference in that genre (except NGE but it’s oooold, or CG) but still, I was far from expecting such a good story before I watched Gundam SEED. After the first episode I already knew I’d like it, especially, as I already said in a previous news post, since I’m on mecha anime right now (I guess). Told a friend who watches them regularly, and he told me that this anime couldn’t compete with Code Geass. In some points, yes that’s undeniable. But for many other points which I really don’t feel to explain in my current state right now, I concur. Crap I’m wasted.

From straining myself like a fool before that apocalyptic scenery in the last episode, my neck ache came back again. Not that it mattered much right at that moment I do notice the pain now though. Geez. Fifty episodes didn’t seem long to me, after all. But I’m hooked now. I most probably won’t even start studying today either, although I ought to after 1 week of total idleness and procrastination. Tomorrow (and I hope only tomorrow) will be neko’s anime mourning day, some sort of idle phase after finishing a kickass series. After that I hope to regain conscience and finally start studying, but… I do know that there is a Gundam SEED Destiny out there waiting to be watched. My luck that I haven’t downloaded it yet. OMG I’m going crazy seriously and the sun is going up already, 6:37 AM What am I doing

Before I start writing any useless remarks and spoilers I guess I’ll restrict myself to this “short” comment. Tomorrow I guess I’ll be in the mood to write a bit more, if I’m not studying. I am dead. DEAD. I bet I’m gonna dream about Fllay… *sob*noooo wait for meeeeeeeeee

A word of warning; Gundam Seed Destiny is nowhere near the caliber of Gundam Seed. I would advice you to stop your viewing here before Destiny ruins everything…
Who am I kidding, of course you are going to watch the sequel no matter what anyone say. Just be prepared to be disappointed.
