As the title says. UH OOOOOOOH!!

Time for my little GSD outlet. After this eventful day I thought I could relax off with a few GSD episodes. With the prejudices swirling around, I sure don’t know whether I’m currently anticipating the apparent future mediocreness of this anime or not. But that’s actually not that bad either. While I’m preparing for the worst, I get blown away by an amazing piece of awesomeness. As the image and the title above suggests, I did come. Bricks. (FYI, it’s a meme. I didn’t really come, what were you thinking…?)

As always, if you haven’t watched it until this point, better not read from here on for there are quite a few spoilers^^

I won’t really post a summary here as 1. I’m too lazy and 2. I bet this anime has been covered oh so many times in the past, so I’ll just tell you a bit about the parts I liked and I didn’t like, obviously… bad spirits are haunting…
Soooo… Let’s start off with Cagalli, my dear Cagalli. DON’T YOU EVEN DARE TO MARRY THAT GODDAMN PIECE OF **** OR I’LL KILL YOU. Seriously. That’s just disgusting how that Yuna (reminds me of FFX) guy (oho a guy) fiddles around with her (that ***hole). I got my share of frustration back then. Although I think I’m not really fond of romance, I do like to see that value of love everywhere (mostly because I almost never experienced that same feeling yet). And I can easily go nuts once that value is broken by some random idiot… only to have him take advantage of her. Great- I’d really like to know what she’ll do next… I hope she will kill that bastard. :3

Well, Orb got sucked into the Earth Alliance. While I do understand the council’s fear that they’d become everyone’s enemy while staying neutral, I still don’t understand their reasoning. They’re accusing Cagalli’s late Father of blowing up Orb, but what would have happened if he hadn’t done that? The enemy would have killed them anyway, and then they’d even have been able to use Orb’s mass driver and the Morgenroete facilities, which definitely would have completely changed the odds back then. Yet they won’t listen to Cagalli, too bad. She should simply rejoin Athrun and let them Orb idiots die foolishly :P

On the mecha front, I see a slight advantage for ZAFT for now. Okay, Earth has Chaos, Gaia, Abyss, and the new Mobile Armors which already got taken out by Shinn. Anything else? I bet there will be soon.
For ZAFT, We got the Savior. Haven’t seen it much in action yet, but I guess it will most probably have the same features than the Justice (I didn’t look up yet, neither will I do that now. spoilers etc, you know.) and with Athrun piloting it will be Win and Gold. We have the Impulse, piloted by our relatively unknown Shinn boy. On a side note, I can now understand a bit what many people were angry about - Shinn doesn’t get much screen time, we get very little info about his past (except the constant flashbacks of his imouto) and he’s indeed standing in the shadows of Athrun and Kira. Also, Berserkers aren’t new, which makes Shinn even less outstanding. Maybe they should have killed Kira and/or Athrun back then so there would have been some room for a new main hero. But then again I don’t really mind the whole thing, cuz I still like how our old guys kick ass. Unlike other people I didn’t believe Shinn to pwn them all anyway. If only Kira had the impulse… ahaha~

Speaking of whom, Kira and the Freedom, zomg… Until now Kira had been sitting on a mansion’s balcony, spacing out all day long. Has he always been that meditative? And his new fashion, look at those pimp clothes, has he gone from emo to cool? Trying to impress Lacus huh ;) Kira only needs to board the Freedom and there we go, bang boom bang overkill victoly I CAME. And what surprised me, it took him five seconds to go berserk. I still wonder who could beat him. However, I don’t know who Kira will be siding with. As it seems, the group will be heading over to PLANT since Kira, Waltfeldt and Lacus are Coordinators and their existence on Earth would be threatened. But now that they’ve been attacked by ZAFT special ops, who knows where they will be heading to. On a funny note, it’s quite amazing to see how those so-called “special ops” take about 10 seconds to aim at lacus at close range. That’s totally BS. (I’m not saying she should have died though, but… the soldier definitely was a real n00b :P good thing he died, pfft lol)

Also, I’m currently pondering whether Durandal’s intentions are good or bad… Until now, he sure seems reasonable and all, but some of his facial expressions seemed malicious to me. It’s undeniable that he has a lot of jokers up his sleeve, the Quantum Fresnel (that huge ass irradiating machine that wiped out Earth’s nuclear attacks), also Meer Campbell (<3), the Savior... Uhh. There HAS to be something even more hidden. Time will tell x_x

In the end, I find the whole story quite unpredictable. If it wasn’t for the previews, I really wouldn’t be able to imagine what will be happening in the next few episodes. I’m highly satisfied with GSD so far, I hope it will keep up the good quality.

I know this is a bit too random and superficial, as I lost a bit the initial enthusiasm to write this post - I couldn’t finish the draft at dorm and here at home I immediately went to sleep. Also, I left my newer computer at dorm (since I’m not gonna move it around for one day), which leaves me with this 7 year old comp here at home. I do have unrestricted internet access yes but my computer ressources are veeery very limited (P4 1.5 GHz, 256 MB RAM, Geforce 2 MX 200 lol). With all that I already partly forgot what happened and what I really wanted to write about. Oh well, noone cares anyway so all’s fine^^
