I’m going to reduce my activity for a while.
16 05 2007Yesterday was my last day of school, maybe for ever, who knows. My goal is set, I need to pass my finals. That’s why I am going to reduce my blogging activity, and that just as I was getting this thing up and rolling (at least one post a day…)…
You might already have noticed, I caught up on Claymore quite rapidly, then finished GSD in a hurry to get that load off my mind before the finals. However, I must admit, and some friends already told me that as well: I simply chose the worst moment to start dedicating myself to this blog, because instead of studying my subjects intensively these past two weeks, I just spent all this time writing and choosing screenshots, tweaking my blog…
Now look. It’s Wednesday, 7:00 PM. In less than 45 hours, I will have my first oral exam, and it’s my main subject on top of that: Biology. Piece of cake, for those who already started studying weeks ago. Me? I haven’t started studying it yet. And it’s quite a LOT. I can assure you that I will have a VERY VERY tough time these next two days if I keep wasting any more time. I could pretend, “Oh, it’s easy, I can easily get most of the essential stuff through in one day.” Actually, that’s absolutely possible. But doing a sloppy work is not very rewarding, I know that as a matter of fact. Especially in oral questions, the more details you know, the better your marks.
My written exams timeline is as follows: May 24, Bio; May 25, English; June 04, French and Economy; June 05, Philosophy; June 07, Chemistry; June 08, Physics; June 11, Maths. After that, there are only French and English orals which are pretty easy since there’s nothing to study for those. Considering that I haven’t studied for any of the other subjects yet, I’m really in a pinch. It’s really going to be a close call getting all that stuff into my head.
As for my grades this year, they’re mostly ok, which allows me to have a failure margin in the exams, some sort of a cushion. The exam counts for two thirds of the overall grade, the year only for one third. However, it still makes a difference. In Physics, where I got an insufficient grade (29 of 60 marks) this year, I’d need a sufficient grade in the exams to pass it. It’s totally feasible. But I fear the exam week in June, so many subjects at once and physics is after philosophy and chemistry… That’s why I need to be done with all of the subjects before the end of the holidays already.
This said, I most probably will (try to) keep away from my computer (aww so hard). This might mean, no anime (if ever, then only Claymore. But I guess I’ll have to renounce on the summary/text this time), no game, no photoshop, no computer, nothing. Thus, no blog. Well, I still will be able to check by once in a while to update something, as I’ll always find a boring moment in between my studying sessions. But in the end, it’s not like anyone would miss, let alone remember me anyway, so I won’t have a real incentive to write anyway. Yappari, hitori da yo ne…
After the finals, no matter if I passed or failed, I was planning to watch… arrr, so many anime series, most probably starting with Nanoha or so, then Gurren Lagann, Hayate no Gotoku, etc. Maybe the old Gundams as well, lol. If I am blogging all of those, saa, who knows. I won’t pick the overblogged series though, for obvious reasons. Also, I wanted to make a new wallpaper, maybe I will also resume my Eruru wall, who knows… etc etc Just look forward to it! And, most importantly, wish me luck!!! I really am going to need it in the next few weeks. Brrr.
If anyone wants to guest write an entry, just make sure to tell me. If I can’t post, maybe someone else can ^^
And a funny clip to finish this off: Lucky Star featuring Micheal Jackson!!!!

How fitting. Tomorrow is my last day of classes (only three classes to go to.) Then, I have to study for my finals that will occur next week ;__; Oh what fun I’m going to have.
Heh… I hope you’re well prepared. I know I am not ;_______;
Good luck on your finals nevertheless!
As Kintaro Oe says:
“BENKYOU BENKYOU BENKYOU BENKYOU BENKYOU BENKYOU [ad infinitum]”
