I was prepared for everything, but this…

5 05 2007

It’s 1:40 PM. Tired after an extensive physics study session, I felt like watching some Gundam SEED Destiny, episodes 29-32. While I’m not in the shape to write anything long right now (and there is a LOT to tell but I’ll keep that for tomorrow), I really really… really needed to vent these feelings. I somewhat feel bad now, after all the sad things that happened in these past few episodes… This.

FYI, that’s Shinn. Shinn is crying. Believe it.

Oh. My. God. I’m bursting. Tears, etc, I can’t fucking breathe for the laughs, I’m in a real frenzy right now, I’m dying o___o No but DID YOU SEE THAT IDIOTIC FACE ROFL! And I thought I could finally go to sleep after that episode, now I’m hyper.

Seriously, that was unintentionally funny, but totally unwarranted. Amongst some imperfections in the past few episodes, this was by far the most blunt and ugly blooper until now. It did ruin the serious mood a lot. Geez… Strangely, that face reminds me of Domo-kun. Or whatever character that has such a huge trap. Oh my god, so exploitable. How long until it gets shoop’d!

Oh, and if you think that it might look different because of the zoom, rest assured. Here is the full screenshot, for the lulz.

Win and Gold - Gundam Seed Destiny 28

4 05 2007

Have a break, break a nut.

Now this was a long episode. At least that’s what I thought when the ending came. It was a very eventful episode, and I liked every single bit of it. Although, an important casualty occurred, which was something I didn’t really expect to happen this early. I think this is going to mark a turning point in the further development of the story.

It goes without saying that there are many spoilers further in this post. Read at your own risk.

An upgrade? Hisashiburi da ne.

2 05 2007

WE’RE FASTER NOW!! (but still way behind the others)

So, Luxembourg apparently has received a massive internet speeds upgrade yesterday.

1 Mbit » 2 Mbit down, 128 Kbit » 256 Kbit up
2 Mbit » 8 Mbit down, 192 Kbit » 384 Kbit up
3 Mbit » 15 Mbit down, 192 Kbit » 512 Kbit up (requires ADSL2+ router)

Great news. That means, now I should be able to download with a fulll 2 Mbits at home! OMGWTFBBQ! Yes, laugh all you can, our country has long time been renowned for its slow internet speeds. Finally, a long time after the French and the Belgian started offering 30 Mbit connections, we can make good use of these decent speeds.

Claymore Episode 1

1 05 2007

A challenger appears…

I just felt like watching something else than Gundam SEED Destiny. Other than obviously trying to get more attention in the community with newer series, I also feel that I should watch more anime. I hope this will somewhat contribute to resolve the problem I stated in one of my earlier posts here, and that I’m moving in the good direction. However, with a little more than 2 weeks left until my finals, this sure is a reckless risk to take. But I think I can handle it. At least I hope I can count on everyone’s support this time… Yet, my hopes have always been proved wrong until now, and I doubt this is going to change. It’s always worth a try though ^^

The story begins in a dark and morbid atmosphere. A female knight engages a bloodthirsty monster, who is devouring a human corpse. As one would expect, the woman takes her opponent out easily and slices them apart with her huge sword. Her silver eyes turning golden when facing such creatures, she’s a Claymore.
