Back with lots of good news!

30 06 2007

Back to my hikikomori days?

Tadaima! Well yeah, I just came back from my rather long week of Spain… Why long? Because it has been a very exhausting week of an average 4-hour sleep pattern with beach at daytime and disco and pubs at nighttime. Not to mention the liters of alcohol that flowed throughout the week, and the hundreds of Euros that I spent on that (I think I did lose a 50eur banknote the first night though…).

But besides the partying decadence of this week at Lloret de Mar, there was one thing that bothered all of us finalists this whole week - The outcome of the finals. The anxiety grew bigger as the days passed by, and then came the fateful day, the 28th, where the results were supposed to be out. As I was trying to recover from yet another hangover, I already heard the screams of joy of relieved people in the hallways of the hotel. I think I already mentioned in my previous entry that I didn’t want to be spoiled on my result while I was in Spain, I wanted to see the result with my own eyes. Well, after a while I gave in to the temptation and asked what it was, since everyone knew theirs and celebrated like mad. I must admit I had a bad feeling back then because I started doubting about maths and chemistry… And thus they said…

I passed. Straight.

No exams to retake, no complementary tests, nothing. Straight. With an ‘Assez bien’ (rather good) grade, which should be little below 40 out of 60 possible marks in the total average result.

No wai. OMFG. Pinch me I’m dreaming.

That’s what I thought at that moment. I did keep my cool the whole time though, I’ll blame it on the hangover. So… An Assez bien. I had vaguely hoped for a Bien (good) but this is absolutely fine too. Because either way, I PASSED! YES!
And today as I survived that rather sleepless bus drive from Spain, I immediately went over to school to check out the results that were hanging on the front door, and confirmed that it was really true.
Yet, I still haven’t fully realized it. I think I will only be able to do that as soon as I will have the diploma between my hands on July 9th… XD
JAPAN HERE I COME! (I still need to hand in the application form, and I still don’t have any recent passport photo…)

Besides this very big of a news, I have another few good ones! First, I have now a crapload of time to spare, so I could realize some of my projects *cough*. On a side note, I just noticed that it’s so cold here at home: from the Spanish summerlike 28 degrees Celsius to Luxembourgish autumnal 17 °C… T___T I’m freezing. Anyway, second, I can blog again, yatta! And perhaps watch one or two additional anime, yet I need to catch up on Claymore (once again…). Third… Saa, maybe I will start translating again, since I might need some practice soon, although I still need to contact the team one of these days. Ah, I so missed my computer x3 Now I need to catch up on sleep, then Claymore, then Pangya or Touhou… Back to my hikikomori days?

I think you misread ^^; I expected a Bien (good), but only got an Assez bien (rather good, okay)

(excellent > très bien > bien > assez bien > satisfaisant > insuffisant > mauvais etc)

Thanks! XD

Was waiting for someone to care about me… (lol)

Obviously not… Well, sorry guys, for now I am somewhat intermingled between pangya and real life, and I haven’t been able to find any motivation to watch anime at all… and consequently, put blogging also on hold…

As soon as I can get a hold of different things, and finally able to watch anime again, I will resume blogging… In the meantime, I might put up a notice entry or so…

But I’d like to thank you for yor comments, at least there are a few who care… lol
