Wow. Episode 9 contained quite some plot twists, and considerable amounts of hemoglobin (read: graphic (read: fucking bloody)). We finally know the identity of Rail Tracer… who actually has a witty real name.
Hahaha oh wow. This episode sure exceeded my expectations: after such a serious episode that was ep 7, I thought it would continue in the same way but no. Episode 8 was mainly focused on Isaac and Miria… Their names say it all, since we know them for seven episodes already: they’re hilarious!
Ever since I watched episode 1 of Baccano yesterday in the afternoon, I have been curious about why the vice-director of Daily Days, Gustav Saint-Germain, mentions the year 1711 and the ship Advenna Avis as a possible starting point for the whole story. Indeed, up until now we only have been led through the hectic early 1930’s, and except of that one small reference, there were absolutely no hints on the events that took place in the 18th century.
Episode 7 will finally unveil those events, the mysterious and dark origins of Baccano.
Since yesterday, I have been thinking a lot over Baccano. The problem is, the more I think about it, the more I get confused. And I bet I am not the only one in this situation. No matter how you turn and twist those pieces, they won’t fit altogether. So as I announced yesterday, I created some kind of timeline, a chronological table to get a perspective of the whole story up until now. But first things first, I’ll tell you a bit about the sixth episode.
Almost everyone knows that Baccano is confusing, and this episode still does not march to a different drummer yet.

Episode 4 of Baccano was, as always, interesting, with once again new pieces of the huge story puzzle. Now it looks like a three-dimensional puzzle, since there are many parts of the previous episodes that are shown from a different point of view now.
