Japan? Not this time, neko.
5 02 2008
I just called the Japanese Embassy, well… seems like I wasn’t accepted for the scholarship.
I guess maths were more important than my Japanese knowledge after all, lol - of course, to study in Japan you absolutely need to know maths! English? Japanese? Not needed.
Once again my ambitions were too high this time. I should have known that kind of bias beforehand and not raised my hopes up in the perspective of such a long wait. Six months for such an exam to be evaluated… Bah! I hope the two others will be happy with their scholarship. Yes, they were proficient in maths lol

I’M GONNA LISTEN TO LINKIN PARK /wrist
SO! What is the new course of the stranded ship now? Well… as you might already know, I have completed one term in English Studies here at the local university, and of course will have to do the second term as well (perhaps with one or two retake exams at the end xD). After that… well, since applications to the UK are closed now (well not really closed, but the odds of admission are pretty low now), I’ve been firstly thinking of continuing my English Studies in the US…
But a friend of mine also told me I could as well go to Germany, and do a BA/MA in Japanology. Since it would be English-Japanese, I would be fine with that as well. I guess I would do that in case everything fails. Edit: it’s German-English. So it will be my last resort because I am not really good in German)
Another possibility of course would be to try to fetch another scholarship from some other organization than the Japanese Government, for example from the JASSO, or directly from some universities. I guess I would do this first, lol…
Either way, I need to quickly gather as much information as possible. Any kind of help, or hint, is greatly welcome.

Don’t kill yourself emo neko! It will be alright! =)
I’d rather swim to Japan than to kill myself :P
And I’m far from being emo ^^ proof: I haven’t listened to Linkin Park yet
Ouch. That sucks. I’m sorry to say I don’t know anything about studying in Japan, so all I can offer is my sincere sympathy.
“Master in Japanology” that sounds so made up to me, adding ‘ology’ to exisiting words always does, lol
Good luck with whatever you end up doing ;)
maybe it wasnt maths after all but the passport pix you sent in ^^
Don’t give up, and never turn Emo(?), Neko!
Just keep trying! Life’s just about following your dreams…
Oh, by the way, nice blog. First time i’m here, and spent a lot of time reading a few posts.
First time I read a Blog Also :S
