Suddenly… boxes!

…hundreds three of them!!!

I get so many boxes lately, but who on earth is sending me all of those? Could it be… the ARIA Goddess???

I have been blessed all week with three new ARIA-related GETS! The first was the ARIA Premium Posterbook III.

Quite a huge package! Good thing I sometimes omit to read some descriptions clearly, because I really didn’t expect it to be this big. Of course, it contains ten posters in A2 size, hehe. Sadly, my room is a mess now, and needs painting soon, so I can’t hang any of those posters up T_T

The second blessing was the arrival of my Cielo Artbook! Like Alpha and Stella, it’s filled with simply gorgeous drawings, I absolutely LOVE them.

But the climax of the week happened today. The complete ARIA manga series, AQUA Vol. 1-2 and ARIA Vol. 1-12 arrived!

ALL OF THEM! What’s cool, I got some kind of bookmarks with almost every volume… except for the last, where there were many ads for the OSTs, the DVDs, new plushies of President Aria, Hime and Maa for 12k Yen each… too expensive………
Anyway, there are 9 bookmarks in total. I got 13. AND I DID NOT GET ALICIA NOR ATHENA! =_=;; Well, I got Akira thrice, Aika and Alice twice… because I like them more than the rest? Bah…

Either way. I would be willing to trade any of the surplus bookmarks I have with Alicia’s and Athena’s, so I can have them all. If anyone is interested, please drop me a mail at natsuneko .AT. animeblogger .DOT. net for more info. Thank you.

The manga is finished. The manga is followed closely by the anime. The manga is such a sweet temptation… BUT I WILL NOT FALTER. The anime ends in ten days, and until then, I WILL NOT READ THE MANGA. Because I know that once I start reading, only the end will make me stop. And I do not want this to happen, I want to watch the anime first. And if you noticed the poll on your left, that’s exactly the question I am asking you: would you want to spoil yourself on the manga first, before watching the animated version? Hope to get a lot of votes.

Hmm, my initial enthusiasm suddenly got choked by a discussion about the Anime Blog Awards in the animeblogger channel. I still get worked up about the sheer hypocrisy and futility of those awards, but I guess I’ll need to put up with that already. These awards are serious insider business, about reputation and e-pen0r.
Yes, I am not nominated. Did you guess? Of course I am complaining, reverse psychoLOLogy. No, to tell you the truth, I don’t give a damn about getting a nomination or an award. I do care because it’s all a huge hypocritical movement anyway, the huge blogs get another popularity boost, while only one or two small, unpopular, non-mainstream blogs would be promoted, and the stupid noob blogs like mine will be pulled down even further into the depths of the gooey internet.
It has not started yet, but the outcome is so predictable. I just hope that this time, I will be proven wrong on my criticism. If yes, I’ll be more than happy. If not, bite me. I just joined the thing to look where I am standing, and perhaps to give a chance to smaller blogs, that’s all. Enough venting, this is not the place for this anyway. I might write an editorial about this topic soon though, if it triggers too many flames or reactions ^^
