Really? Let's see... counting the two endings of Episode 2, then the three of Episode 3...? That's five.
Although then again I don't know if there is a way, like in AT2, to get an ending without heroines. Would then make 3+4, err... 7? Quite a lot indeed, but even so, I'm more than happy with Aurica. :3

Just when you thought you were done with Ar Tonelico, it has 7 endings.

The only thing that really bothered me about Ar Tonelico was how STUPID Lyner could be at times.

Thanks for the info. Reassures me a little to hear that AT2 will be more challenging ;) Not saying I was bored of AT1 though.

Yeah, amazon suggested me to buy Nocturne but only second-hand and/or pretty expensive. I shall try and hope to find a cheap one somewhere, but I think I'm still very well endowed for the time being, games-wise. ;)

AT2 will definitely be more of a challenge than AT1, especially with the new battle system. And yes, there is a limit as to how much you can dive. You will be informed about it when the time comes though. AT2 is definitely a massive improvement over the first, so I'm sure you'll enjoy playing it. It's definitely more difficult, which is good considering I had major issues with the first game since it was too easy.

As for Odin Sphere, it does get repetitive, since you have to do a bit of grinding to power up your HP and weapons, and fight the same bosses over and over again, but the graphics are great, story is very well thought of, and the game itself will provide a bit of a challenge.

P3 and P4 will also be quite entertaining, and they're definitely harder than your average JRPG. Although I encourage you to try out the other Shin Megami Tensei games. On the difficulty scale, they don't really compare to games like Nocturne and Digital Devil Saga, but then again people say my definition of "challenging" is kinda distorted...

Anyway, have fun and enjoy the ride. You've got a lot of great games there.

Claim your PS2 back, get thee to a nunnery, and play that freakin' game. I could slap myself silly for not having touched it for so long.

Hmm, I did hear about Odin Sphere being repetitive, but the hand-drawn graphics and stuff apparently fully compensate for that. That'll have to wait a little though. AT2 first, then I'll need to toss a coin to decide which game to play next.

(Thing is, you almost can't get CRTs anywhere now here, that's why they have that vintage, deprecated feel. I really don't know many people around me who still have one either.)

Ah, Ar Tonelico. I always wanted to try that, it's very interesting. I have it of course, but haven't tried it yet; I'll have to wait to October with that (when my brother finally leaves to study in Japan, and finally gets off the PS2... I couldn't play on it for half a year (or maybe more), because he's glued to it).

As for Odin Sphere, you'll get your Challenge fix. Because it's a touhouzingly hard motherf*cker. And also, it'll become a little too repetitive in the second half (I still haven't beaten it yet, thanks to my brother, of course -.-). But at least, the graphics is beautiful.

(BTW, sometimes it's really interesting when western people talk about how CRT is something old, and stuff. Where I live CRT TVs and monitors is the normal, if you have LCD, you're considered to be filthy rich.)

As for the Cosmospheres for AT1, I only managed to complete Aurica’s. I stayed away from the latter half of Misha’s Cosmosphere simply because I AM NOT RORIKON, and I just didn’t like her. Shurelia, on the other hand, … eh-heh. Shush.

Funnily enough, her latter half is not for lolikons... you should have known that. :P You're such a lolikon in denial, Rinne. :3c
