AKB48 Performing at New York Anime Festival

Just a few of the 48(+) exceptionally cute ladies
Now normally I wouldn’t post such news, but since I am attending New York Anime Festival it has got me all pumped up! :D
Essentially AKB48 is an idol group of 48 and some times even more. There are three teams, the three being A team, B team, and C team. Where AKB is short for Akihabara, an otaku shopping district in Japan.

AKB48 will be performing on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at NYAF, which just so happens to be the day I am attending. Expect pictures, some videos, swag, and whatever else I may obtain while there.
Once I order my tickets this weekend, I will post a complete preview post of the entire con.
