Late as always, but better late than never! Out of the few series that I had in my current preference pool, I chose Minami-ke. From what I had heard about it from different places, it seemed to me like it the best start into the new year, and also yet another comeback after a few weeks of anime hiatus. And I am glad I did it. I couldn’t have made a better choice. After watching half of the series, I was already in love with Minami-ke.
At that time I already was writing on a mid-season review, but as always, I got carried away and wrote 90% of what you would call an end of series review, with conclusions and anticipations of the next season already… to watch then the rest of the series later and to add…. what, a second personal appreciation, copy/pasta etc? Heck, that would have made no sense indeed.

Episode 13, the final episode. Damn, there is always such a solemn feeling that comes along with it… Well, it’s done!

Right following the last entry, I got to watch episode 12 because I wasn’t tired enough. But I couldn’t finish everything in time though. I was quite excited though, because this episode sure overwhelmed me with loads of information, and small share of surprise as well.

I don’t know why, but for some reason I spent most of the time laughing throughout the episode. I think it’s just my current state of fatigue; I had less than eight hours of sleep these past two days because I had to prepare both a preparation and a test today… both of which I think I quite failed but that’s not the point here.
After writing the entry, I now wonder why I even laughed in the first place, it’s quite serious business x_x

Finally got some free time on my hands today, so I can briefly talk about Ep 10 and do an update on the Baccano timeline as well. I already had watched this episode two weeks ago, so there wasn’t really a surprise for me now, but still: seems like something is coming about soon!

Wow. Episode 9 contained quite some plot twists, and considerable amounts of hemoglobin (read: graphic (read: fucking bloody)). We finally know the identity of Rail Tracer… who actually has a witty real name.
