Okawari! Yep, I am not sated yet. With so many potentially good series this summer, it is hard to make a decision which series to effectively watch and perhaps even blog. So here’s to confirm or veto my first good impressions on the eight series I picked. Don’t worry, I will (try to) keep it short this time.

Of course, I hope to reduce that number to a strict minimum. After all, there still are plenty of long seasoners from spring (Basquash!, Cross Game, Phantom, Saki, Tears to Tiara, Valkyria Chronicles) I am currently watching and blogging, so I will have to limit my choices here. (Even if I rarely do episodical posts now anyway, but it still is a lot to watch and muse about.)

Last night, I’ve had a nightmare. The first in years. It was about volcanoes, as always. And when I went onto the internets in the morning - clear mistake - I ended up relapsing in another “omgwhysofewcommentsomgwtfthissucksomg” craze, kind of like Kanon freaking out in Umi Monogatari. MWAHAAHAHAHAHA. In my bed. Ugh, I hate nightmares.

Last time, I picked the least interesting shows at the last part of my spring impressions series. Will it be the same this time again? Judge for yourself!

The base problem here is all have severe mental problems. I think. Emphases ‘base’.

Like many people, I started watching anime seriously when Evangelion was out on VHS. (That was ‘99 in NA, i believe) But the last 4 episodes where so confusing/convoluted/stupid that I was all “WTF”. So when D:R and EoE came out, I was happy. But still very confused. You know, the whole “Hey, let’s rewrite the ending” thing. Which didn’t help. At all.

I wouldn’t mind a few comments though, to see if my first impressions matched yours. But that’s stating the obvious (why would I keep writing if there’s barely no feedback at all), and apparently that’s asking for too much anyway. Bah, I’ll address this ever recurrent problem some other time, the main dish comes after the jump!
